Defying Gravity

Defying Gravity

I’m a big kid at heart and going to trampoline parks are super fun. I realized for not being on a trampoline in a while I get pretty tired after a half-hour of jumping up and down. My friends and I had to go see what this trampoline park had to offer and was not disappointed.

Defy, formally known as, Boomshaka an indoor trampoline park is where families, friends and big kids like me can go to spend an hour or two blowing off energy. There are different areas of the park where you can drive into foam pits, swing into foam pits and jump to your heart’s content. As well as an area to slam dunk basketballs, play dodge ball and jump and do flips. There are obstacle courses and a rock climbing wall as well. A fun time.

An hour seemed to be long enough for my friends and I. So much to do and try.

Things to bring: you, some friends, and grippy socks if you have them. If not you’ll have to buy them there.

The prices vary depending on how long you want to jump. They do have a monthly membership that a one time visit monthly would pay for it. Check out the website for a Defy Trampoline Park near you!

Super fun!

As for providing food or drink some have their own concession stands. For the adults who do want to take a break from jumping there is an upstairs level with TVs and massage chairs. A great place to relax a bit and still keep an eye out on the little ones. There are party rooms too.

My favorite things to do are jumping into the foam pit and jumping and doing flips on the trampolines.

Have you ever been to a trampoline park? What’s your favorite thing to do?

Keep kicking and smiling! –TJ Banski
