“The F word is here.”
One of my customers said to me just as the thunder rolled outside the office. My immediate thought was I hope this isn’t inappropriate comment and then he sluggishly exhaled.
“Fall. Fall is here.”
As you can tell there are a variety of people that live in the pacific northwest. Those who like the rain, those who don’t, and those who don’t mind either way. Rain clouds, colored leaves, hot cider, and pumpkin spice. Fall. I like that changing of the seasons from summer to fall, it’s pretty.
The one thing I am not too keen on is there is a lot, I mean a lot of rain. But the pacific northwest is like that. One reason why its mostly green here, the rain! This is a transitional period to winter and part of me likes it because of the cozy feeling of snuggling up in a warm blanket and reading a book but the other part of me is upset that I can’t go out and play.
Somethings I do like about the fall. Salted caramel white mochas, going to pumpkin patches, dressing up for costume parties and getting a lot more reading and writing done. I tend to get the most of my cleaning done in the fall as well. Putting all the summer gear away and dusting off decorations and winter gear.
Fall is a time for harvest, not just in agricultural but in the business arena. Here business owners and committee asses how the year has gone so far, what they can do for the future and address other needs. For me, this year for my blog has been amazing. I have learned so much and have gained a lot of knowledge in promoting my ideas and getting my content out there.
I started a YouTube channel dedicated mainly to fun and inspirational/motivational blogs. I started a Patreon site for viewers to support and be apart of my creative process. I hit over 5000 likes on my Facebook page and well on my way to 10k! I know there is so much more to learn and do. Now it’s growing my audience and maintaining the readership. I’m excited to see what this new year will bring and what more I can learn.
What more would you like to see with my blog? What do you like about fall?
Thank you for reading and being apart of this journey!
