Another late night poem by yours truly! Enjoy!

Forgive transgressions of your fellow man
They think not how they come across
To make one feel small and defeated
They want to feel significant and needed
Forgive the past, for dwelling on it
Won’t move your forward
But only hold your back
What is done is done
You much learn from it and move on
Forgiveness comes when you are ready
To let go of what happened
Forgive but never forget
Learn from the past to build a better future
Forgive yourself of the small and big things
Decisions you made that hinder your progress
It’s okay we are not perfect
Tomorrow is another day to learn, to grow
To keep moving forward
Forgiveness brings peace to the weary mind
And lightens a load of tired and wondering soul

This poem was inspired by this quote:

No amount of guilt can solve the past and no amount of anxiety can change the future.
