Shift in Mindset

Abundance vs scarcity. This was an ongoing struggle in my mind for the longest time. “I don’t have enough for this.” “This is too expensive.” “I don’t have the skills for this.” These thoughts and phrases escaped my lips for years. I didn’t realize how it affected me. Two years ago I discovered a new way of thinking the Law of attraction and abundance mindset. Through a lot of studies, I found I still have a lot to learn. I admit I am no master but I feel I can say I have progressed in some concepts.

What you feel about you bring about: What? I thought this was an odd concept but it brought my awareness to my body and feelings. I became aware of how events and circumstances the more I saw it unfolding in front of me. For example, if I am really passionate about being late for work, guess what I will be late. There will be obstacles in my way to delay me. I will only see those that will delay me further to being late. The flip side if I focus on being on time. I will be. Lights will turn green, other people will move to another lane, weird but fun things like that happen if I focus on the things I want to happen.

Visualizing: When I was looking for a new job, I visualized what I wanted. I wrote down every little detail I wanted in this new job. It took a few months but now I have a new job and am working with some great people. Seeing what I wanted and believing I had was the biggest thing to overcome.

Receiving: This concept alludes me at times. This happens because I am not in the right frame of mind or focus. Receiving the item before I have it was hard to wrap my mind around. So I have it but it’s not yet in front of me, was how I began to look at things. That new car? It’s mine on a future date.

*Note to self: Though the thing or experience may not happen right away, the more I focus on it happening the more likely it will happen. Maybe not today or next but in the near future depends on how big my wish is.

Taking the appropriate actions and following my gut feeling! A newer concept I am getting a better handle on. I used to be filled with a lot of self-doubts, low self-esteem, and self-worth. Once I found the root of it, I took steps to help increase my self-esteem and confidence. This led to believing in myself and trusting my gut. This led to doing some great things. Starting my blog, meeting some great people, and going on some great adventures. Don’t get me wrong I have my down days, but those days I feel I bounce back quicker than before. In trusting in myself and my abilities it caused me to take some serious actions in what I want to achieve.
