Ever stumble upon a bad day? Like literally stumble out of bed and it seems like everything goes that way? You are late for work, you spill your coffee, things seem to not go your way?
I used to feel like that a lot. Seemed as if the world was working against me, not for me. A few years back, I stumbled upon the law of attraction. I realized it had other benefits but the other biggest thing I got out of it was a gratitude attitude. Developing a routine that set me up to be in a gratitude state of mind first thing in the morning. I set myself the night with a nightly routine and then in the morning start the day with feeling good and grateful for what I have and where I am at. For me, this feeling didn’t happen overnight but over month I felt things were shifting. I felt good and things seemed to just click in place for me. I wrote out a small list of five things every day that I was grateful for.
“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”– Melody Beattie
This is the season to be grateful for what we have and to give to those in need. It shouldn’t have to be a season but an everyday thing. Being grateful every day for something can only manifest more of what you are grateful for. With this gratitude attitude, I feel better and feel I can do just about anything.
